bad day...but still smilin' =D (2004-12-07)

as promised, this will be a detailed record of everything that happened to me today. surprisingly enough, none of the events made me jump off a building =) so yah, I'm still here...LoL

soo...I was working on that 50% RLG paper till 5:30am this morning and I actually FINISHED it before I went to sleep. Thanks to FL, my cutie, Pickle, and others who kept me company =) Udon tastes extra good at 4am when you're super hungry!! hahaha =P *mmmmm* I ended up getting about 5.5 hours of sleep which is pretty good~ woke up later than anticipated, so I did my referencing and looked over my paper one final time before going to school. of course, I also caught Jai online this morning and got to chat with him for a bit =) it's always nice to have someone tell you that they 'love ya' in the morning...just *brightens* up the rest of your day!! ^_^ well...so I headed DT around 12ish...hoping and praying that I won't be too late for my RLG class (considering I still had to go to Robarts to print my paper- ya, damn printer at home doesn't work! f*ckn piece of sh*t!)

FREEZING RAIN TODAY!! my mom emailed me and called and warned me that it would be freezing rain. of course, I didn't care much for it and took off...tired, hungry...and DAZED @_@!! the moment I stepped outside, I realized how *smart* I was to NOT bring an umbrella, but what the hell...I was late already...so I skidded my way towards the bus stop. of course, there were already 4 people in there and SOMEHOW...this one girl was able to just STAND THERE IN THE ENTRANCE so I kinda stood...outside?! ya, so it was raining on me...*hon* and her friend I guess realized? and motioned for her to move over so I could step inside. thanks friend =)

lucky for me, the Rocket came within 5 minutes, and its always nice to get on a Rocket (cuz it only stops at major intersections) got on the bus, found a seat, and slept...zzzz...till we got to Don Mills and I got myself a patty!!! I didn't exactly realize that that was my only meal until after my test -_-" but anyhow...the patty was good, and I got to read half of my article for my Law & Psych. Ya, I didn't start studying for that test (@ 3pm) till I got onto the Sheppard Subway!! hahaha...talk about last minute eh? =P

well...so far so good you say? actually, everything did go pretty well till I got downtown. IT WAS POURING! everyone had an umbrella...well, everyone except for ME! and the walk from St.George to Robarts just seemed EXTRAAAA LOOONNNGGGG...but I was still early (around 12:45pm) so it was OK =) waited in line for a bit to use the Express Station to print my stuff...
so I login, go to Yahoo, open my email, click on my 1 new msg...and...*(^%()#^*&){#&*($(P*Y#%???????? it was a msg from Beth to Peace??? where's my paper?????????? *lightning strikes in the background* <-- imagine those expressions you see in comics...its not even HON, its BEYOND that...more like...hit by a sledgehammer! LoL =P

okok...calm down I told myself. so I left the Express Work Station to line up for one of the other computers, and just went into all my emails and checked again (and again and again) its just impossible that Yahoo didn't receive the email! I called home hoping that my aunt could email me to me...but she went out (damn) so I lingered around Robarts for awhile, contemplating what I should do. I thought of the craziest ideas I tell ya! I even thought of calling Ian and asking him to hack into my computer!! LoL =P (thats, assuming he can! haha) surprisingly though, I was really calm and I actually had to ability to think straight...I took a look at my watch- 1:30pm! I was late for class. not that that matters at all at a moment like this...but more importantly, I had a test at 3pm which I have not yet studied for. I called my home one last time and checked email one last time. no luck. I wasn't about to spend another minute worrying about this...so I sent an email to my RLG TA explaining the situation (omg, this is worse than 'the dog ate my homework', but at least I was honest) and told her I would email her a copy of my paper the moment I got home, and will later drop off a hard copy to the department. lucky for me, one of the 2 emails that I tried was actually hers and hopefully, she checked her email (no reply yet)

after that, I told myself not to think about this again, and went straight to the studying room (where we ran into cutie last time) found a sit, and started to study. I only had an hour an a half before the test and I had to finish reading the article, take notes and look over my own lecture notes. good thing I stayed awake during that lecture...LoL =P I would say that I was pretty efficiently during that period and managed to get a lot of the info down. ran over to WW in the pouring rain to write my test...

ohoh, and what a NONGIRLY moment that was. I ran out towards the street with another guy, and we stood next to this girl who has been standing there in between 2 cars waiting for a chance to cross. cars were zooming up and down St.George despite the bad conditions. of course, the guy and I just ran and freaked some poor driver out...and I turned around after I crossed the street to see the girl still standing there. poor gal, I hope she crossed the street OK =P

so I got to class and Ben & Fontane were already there. put my stuff down to sit next to the exhausted Fontane and chatted with Ben for a bit before the test. told him about my situation (yup, you're screwed said Ben) we were doing the same topic for the test, so he asked to see the notes that I made, and when he saw them, he was freaked out to discover that THERE WAS AN ARTICLE!! poor dude didn't know and didn't read it. so in 30 seconds, I tried to summarize the article for him and lent him my notes to look at. I hope it was able to help him. in general, the test went well...I think I did best in this one actually. but blah, thats not for me to think about anymore...we'll just find out when marks are out =)

TTCed home with Ben...its always a nice chat. HAHAHA...we stood in the doorway right were the sign says "please do not block doorway" again =P went all the way with him to Scarb Town where I met up with my mom. then went and bought a new jacket at the place where my cousin works...its nice! it's GREEN!! and hey, kinda girly too if you ask me, it has that furry thing around the hood, but you can take it off =)

went home...emailed my paper to the TA and Prof...took a 3 hour nap (crap, that was some GOOD SLEEP) got up and ate dinner (chicken wings!!) and now here I am. the goal tonight is to write up those Christmas cards and send them out tomorrow!! and tomorrow's goal is to do some SOC readings (blah! hate soc)

BEST OF LUCK to flo, KK, red and all others who are studying for her ECO328...GOKU GALS! you can do it!! ^_^ man, flo's gonna be soooo free after this...while I slave over my LOGIC! booo...but really, if you put your mind to it, nothing is impossible!!

GOOD LUCK to cheaps who has his hardest exam ever tomorrow morning at 9:30am!! if I wake up in time (which I won't, haha) I'll pray for you, k? and if not, then...ADD OIL!!! ^_^

actually, now that I think about it, my day wasn't all that bad...I woke up late (when do I not?) the weather was bad (but at least I didn't get sick) and I couldn't hand in my paper (so what? its done!)...it really isn't all that bad. I'm sure other people had worse days than that...I'm just glad that I was able to stay calm and not freak out about it so much that it ruined my test! *sigh* first term (classes) are officially over...

gonna get cracking with those Xmas cards now...GOOD LUCK to all those rushing assignments and cramming for test/exams! just give it your best...and let God do the rest =)
